5 Stars One of the most experienced coach mentors gives us all her wisdom in one place
This book is an extremely clear and detailed description of what it takes to build a successful business. As a coach trainer, I have recommended this book to many new coaches and used many principles to build my coaching practice. Milana is a leader in the coaching industry in providing quality products that support coaches. All coaches need to have this book!!

5 Stars Love it!
This year one of my business goals was to kick off a coaching program for my business. Coaching seemed to be such a big mystery. I had no idea where to begin or how to get started on the right track.

Imagine my surprise when I heard an interview with Milana Leshinsky online. It was just the direction that I needed, but I needed more information. I looked up her book and found it here. It is EXACTLY what I needed.

In Coaching Millions, Milana covers everything that we need to be a successful coach. It is truly the GO-TO resource. I am so thankful that I found it to help me reach for my goals. Just look at all it covers:

How to get started so you can be a success

How to pick your coaching model

How to price coaching services

How to build a market presence

How to develop passive coaching income

Plus, all throughout the book, Milana shares secrets to success in business and coaching.

When I purchased the book, I was looking for help setting up my coaching business. I found SO MUCH MORE! This book is the most important resource that I have found this year for my business. Excellent resource!

5 Stars Great Business Building Book For Coaches
Milana has become a true authority on the subject of the “business” of coaching. This book provides an overview of just about every way coaches can have the kind of incomes they dream of. I’ve read it and used it as a reference several times. As the author of The High Diving Board: How to Overcome Your Fears and Live Your Dreams, and a coach who is devoted to helping coaches and other professionals develop their businesses, I was pleased that Milana put so much of what she knows out there for us all to share. If you’re growing your business as a coach, you NEED to read this book.

3 Stars Coaching Millions
This is a very helpful and insightful read. It contains some very useful information for new coaches who are developing their businesses. However, I must be terribly honest. While the content is awesome, it is very apparent that Milana is not a good writer, and it does seem somewhat “rushed.” You will encounter very poor editing quality in general. This is constant throughout and can get on your nerves because it is distracting.

However, based upon the actual content presented, I would recommend purchasing this book for the learning opportunity for coaches new to the industry.

And she does go on quite a bit about herself in this book, but I believe this is done so that she can develop rapport with the reader. She wants them to feel that she can relate to what they’re experiencing.

5 Stars Must read for anyone pursuing a coaching career.
I found myself reading the great novel of the century! How can that be for a how to book? Every page was engaging and filled with so much helpful advice for a real novice like me. The pointers and the resources throughout the book have made is so dog-eared that I may have to purchase another copy, since will surely lose pages from my worn and torn edition.

5 Stars Great Book Wonderful Easy to Read Information
I found the book to be a very easy read and provide the fundamentals to start a business and learn about investing in real estate. It shows that you don’t necessarily need to have thousands of dollars saved in order to buy a home. What I like the most about this book is that it encourages and shows ways to build wealth in this “down” real estate market. This is the time to buy. You don’t have to spend $2500 to attend a Donald Trump Seminar to learn about basic fundamentals of real estate and know that it is a good time to buy. I definately recommend this book to anyone who is trying to get their feet wet and enter a very profitable investment arena.

5 Stars Great inspiration seeking book
This is one of few books that I read cover to cover, and going to read it again in the next few months to remind myself and my business that there is more than just making money in life - its about making the world a better place to live for.

Although it doesn’t contain any recipe for ice-creams (wasn’t looking for one), it does contain the recipe for a successful business model built on a socially responsible organization that grew into a giant franchise all over the world - from a gas station and a mere 4 grands. GREAT role model for those going into business as well as those already in business.

Great resource annex at the back, from suppliers to other valued-led business. I live in Singapore, but if I have the chance, I will want to visit Vermont when my business takes off.

Since this book was a pre-Unilever take-over publication, it did not mention about the business model changes after that.

The world is getting messy - war, poverty, madness, scandals and terror, this book injects humanity into us, it gives me comfort when I go to sleep at night knowing that there are still hope and greatness in most of us. I give it 5 stars.

  • Make More Money Investing in Multiunits A Step by Step Guide

Make More Money Investing in Multiunits A Step by Step Guide

Seven out of every 10 millionaires have made their money in real estate investment. But, unlike many real estate investors, the truly wealthy focus on commercial real estate, specifically multi-units (apartment buildings). Yet, investing in apartment buildings can be a daunting proposition for many would-be and seasoned investors. Gregory D. Warr, Wall Street trader, real estate investor and nationally renowned trainer, demonstrates how the benefits outweigh the risks – there is less competition, fewer limitations in the market and better turnover necessary to make money for multi-unit investors. He has built his profitable real estate portfolio from the ground-up using his own proprietary strategies for investing in apartment buildings. In his book, Make More Money-Investing in Multi-Units, Warr outlines the process for acquiring apartment buildings and managing a successful business investing in commercial real estate.

Drawing from his success, you will learn to:

    • Identify the best markets to locate properties with the greatest potential for success

    • The process that determines what properties yield the greatest returns •Acquire buildings with little or no personal capital

    • The three best structures to negotiate an offer

    • The 1 team member that will make or break your investing career and how to find him or her

    • How to help others and communities by giving back

    User Ratings and Reviews

2 Stars Strategy but little substance
This book has a sound strategy in investing in apartments of 10-25 units. However, when the author attempts detailed explanations, they’re either confusing or wrong.

An example in his section about structuring your business, “I recommend structuring each property as a separate corporation…”. No mention of using an LLC, the preferred real estate business structure. Then the author goes on to talk about partnership structures, while not mentioning the LLP structure (nevermind the corporation he advocated 3 pages earlier). Then he says everyone who contributes is a partner, including the bank from whom you borrow. The bank as a member of your legal partnership? I don’t think so, but this is an example of the lack of clarity and ensuing confusion that comes from this text.

The author talks about tax advantages to entice doctors to as partners, while completely failing to discuss what the investors tax advantages are when investing in real estate. Talk about missing the big picture.

    4 Stars Overall good book
Overall good book. Deals with partnerships and different ways to structure them, which I have not read before as detailed as in this book. However, it leaves a couple of questions unanswered. The rest of the book is comparative to any basic/intermediate real estate book. Small investors looking for ways to grow should consider reading it.

    5 Stars Yuriy Z
This is a great book for an investor who is new to real estate or for a real estate investor with some experience like me who is serious about real estate and understands that to be very successful, learning from seasoned, very successful investors like Gregory Warr can give you a huge advantage and help enormously in achieving the goal. For those of us without rich dads, being able to learn about “tricks of trade” straight from the source is invaluable.

I read the book from cover to cover on the day when I bought it. The book is easy to read and full of valuable and practical recommendations such as: invest in low- to middle-income housing as more people are looking for low- to middle income housing than those who are looking for high-income housing. Mr. Warr shares some insightful ideas about financing of properties, structuring the offer and negotiating, and managing multiunits. The book bursts with energy, which is very contagious.

It clearly shows that it is possible to create wealth and stability investing in multinunits and guides you how this can be done. The best part is that Mr. Warr shares a lot of his personal experience, so his examples and recommendations are very convincing.

After reading this book, I felt like a new door is now open for me. I am looking forward to closing on my first multiunit.

5 Stars So Easy, My 11 Year Old Understands It!
When I start in a new area of business, I am always afraid that I will pick up a book that is way over my head. This book really IS an easy to understand,”Step-by-Step Guide”! The glossary in the back of this book is worth as much as the rest of the book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in Multiunits. Also, if you get the chance to sit under Greg’s teaching in person…DO IT!

5 Stars Great information easy to follow
I have read and followed the steps in Greg’s book and have purchased my first multi-unit property.

The book is written in a simple format and easy to follow the steps to purchase multi-units.

Read and take all the pointers and buy units –it is the way to financial freedom.

Values Driven Business How to Change the World Make Money and Have Fun Social Venture Network

Values Driven Business How to Change the World Make Money and Have Fun Social Venture Network

Read This Book…if you own or run a business or if you’re thinking of starting one….if you think there has to be more to doing business than just making money….if you feel ”there’s got to be a way” to run a successful business without driving yourself and your employees to early graves….if you want to know how to build a business that will reflect your personal values, not force you to hide them….if you’re studying business and you want to know what business can do at its best….if you’ve been hearing about ”corporate social responsibility” or ”the triple bottom line” and you wonder what all the fuss is about - or if you think those ideas apply only to major corporations….if you’ve read books or articles about corporate social responsibility and discovered they don’t help you meet the real-world challenges you confront in a small or medium-sized business….if you’ve been thinking of investing in ways to treat your customers or your employees better or to reduce the damage you’re doing to the environment but you think your company’s just not big enough to afford it - or if you think your profits will go down if you do….or if you want to understand one of the most powerful new ideas that’s affecting business all over the world today.

    User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars KEEPS THE FOCUS ON VALUES BRIGHT. EXCEPTIONALLY USEFUL AND INSIGHTFUL!
Based on case studies, this book presents a how-to road map for those who want to stay true to the principles of

    (1) NOT producing products in an environmentally damaging way and

    (2) treating people right–giving employees dignity, respects and decent pay!

The book includes resources for those who want to narrow the gap between their personal values and business practices. The book addresses the myriad of dimensions of values-driven businesses relating to employees, customers, stockholders and communities. Highly recommended.

5 Stars Ben Cohen Should Know–The Market Rewards Values-Based Businesses
The founding CEO of one of the largest green businesses in the world (Ben & Jerry’s) joins up with the CEO of a boutique consulting firm to show that businesses of any size can benefit from sustainability. In this well-written book, they lay out five dimensions of a values-driven business: relationships between your company and its employees, customers, suppliers, and community. Each of these gets a full chapter, as does the business’s impact on the environment.

The best thing about this book is the set of action steps and checklists to help any entity (business, non-profit, institution, or even activist organization) incorporate a social and environmental agenda while in most cases actually becoming more profitable.

    Examples include:

    * Five justifications for why socially responsible companies are often more profitable

    * Ten-point checklist to determine readiness to start the process

    * Seven arguments for paying your employees well (my favorite: it forces the company as a whole to work smarter)

    * Five reasons why profitsharing with employees builds a business, and six models to incorporate the idea into practice

    * Ten ways to turn your employees into your partners

    * 19 specific methods (many of them easy and no-cost) to reduce your company’s environmental footprint

The other thing I love about this book is the use of clear, simple case histories, drawing extensively from the authors’ own history but also from many other companies. You’ll learn, for instance, about Clif Bar’s five-fold bottom line: “the planet, the community, our own people, the health of our brands”; you’ll also learn about Mal Warwick’s extremely innovative charitable programs…Peachpit Press’s amazing vacation policy…Recycline’s commitment to reduce the waste stream…and how all of these and many other social/environmental policies actually help these companies be more profitable.

Shel Horowitz’s award-winning sixth book, Principled Profit: Marketing That Puts People First, demonstrates how to build a business around ethics, environmental sustainability, and cooperative practices–and how to develop marketing that highlights those advantages.

1 Star Walking the Walk vs. Talking the Talk
What an interesting book, instructing businesses on how to be profitable AND ethical! I wish more people would operate in such a manner. I do, and always have, and now after almost 20 years in business can recognize when someone else (client, supplier) is less than ethical. I avoid them. I wish I had that insight when I first started! With only my vacation day payout and a few thousand in the bank, I started a computer network installation and service company. I was asked to bid on a job for prospective new client. I put a lot of time and thought into it and put in my bid. They asked for more detail, so I gave them that. They asked for specific part numbers, so I gave them that. They asked for an implementation map, so I added that. After a couple of weeks and dozens of pages of instructions…they had all they needed to do the job themselves - and that’s just what they did. They bought all the goods mail-order and pulled the cabling per my freeloaded instructions, same as they re-mapped their servers, changed their operating system license, etc. I learned a lesson that day. If businesspeople can legally (but unethically) steal from you, the usually will. Oh, the name of the company that did this to when I was first starting out? Take a guess…the big hypocrites.

    5 Stars Highly recommended!
Using examples from their personal experiences and from a wide variety of U.S. companies, Ben Cohen and Mal Warwick show how companies have incorporated socially progressive and environmental values into their daily business practices. The authors insist that companies can help their communities and make money at the same time, adding a new dimension to traditional business models, which focus only on profits. Although the authors’ enthusiasms sometimes carry them away - for example, they insist that customers who don’t share your values will respect you so much for them that they’ll stay loyal anyway - the “values-driven business” is an idea whose time has come. We recommend this book to business owners large and small who want the benefits of their work to extend beyond just themselves and their stakeholders.

5 Stars A practical guide for turning ideals into reality
I eventually want to start my own apparel business, but I know the industry is rife with ethical abuse. Because of this, I want to run a business that does as little harm and as much good as possible. Until a few weeks ago, I was not sure how to bring that ideal to practical fruition. After receiving “Values-Driven Business” from someone who works for a socially responsible company, many of my questions were answered.

Why am I glad I read the book? Here are some attributes:

    1) It is quick to read, enjoyable, and optimistic. No gloom and doom.

    2) It is a fantastic overview of socially responsible business. This is NOT a deep, complicated analysis of the topic. It is simple enough for people who aren’t sure where to start and need an introduction, yet has interesting, enlightening examples for someone already familiar with socially responsible business.

    3) It is well organized. The authors go over five dimensions of values-driven businesses (some of which I had not considered): employees, suppliers, customers, community (local and global), and the environment. At the end of each section is a list of specific actions that one might consider incorporating into a business to create positive change.

    4) The text goes beyond black and white binary opposition, and challenges assumptions about socially responsible businesses (e.g., they can’t make a profit, they make inferior products, etc.).

    5) Practical examples of values-driven companies comprise the backbone of the text. This shows the principles at work, and shows that two businesses can have different ways of incorporating values; there is not one “right” way to be socially responsible. Reading about all the different solutions people have devised to make a difference was my favorite part of the book!

I highly recommend this book as a concise introduction that is chock-full of inspiring examples of values-driven businesses in action. It will empower you to make abstract ideals a reality and it provides an excellent foundation for further inquiry!

Like most network marketers I had the motivation and excitement but after enrolling began asking myself “ok, now what?” I found the answers in this book as Christensen takes the guesswork and mystery out of direct selling. It is easy to relate to Christensen as she tells her story of how she began in this industry. If the steps are followed, the reader will not have to reinvent the wheel but rather will have a clear set of principles to follow allowing them to stay on course to financial freedom.
