I just purchased the book and received it in the mail; quite promptly, but was totally unable to go to the authors advertised website, to get further information that was offered in the book, perhaps the site is so new it has not been established yet; not even the authors E-Mail site is up or working. But if this does not bother you, by all means get the book, because it has some wonderful insights into the odds and betting process.
3 Stars Puzzle Pieces
I have read many books on handicapping. Rand Brown has added insight from a horsemen’s perspective. Though I have not found any use for his betting technique, his book does offer tidbits that would help others in the pursuit of handicapping. If you buy this book and others on handicapping and approach it as though you were trying to assemble a puzzle - looking at each book for its piece of pieces, then I would say go ahead and purchase. I found a piece or two that has added to my ability as a handicapper. If you’re looking for a literary piece this is not the book for you. Randy had a tendency to write in random thoughts - or so it seemed. Personally, I have greatly benefited from the book. Thank you Randy, your comments on watching race reviews paid for the book many times over in the first weekend I played after having read your work.

There’s an absolute ton of intriguing information about actual wagering strategies in this book. If you’re serious about improving your status as a gambler, or in life, buy this book!

5 Stars VERY INTERESTING BOOK
I thought the book overall was pretty good, I did notice some grammar errors and a repeated paragraph on page 44 I think it was, but I suffer from short term memory loss anyway so it helped me
