I don’t own a business but the tips in here are “life tips” not necessarily “money” tips. A great book with some wonderful “life” advise.

3 Stars Essays and reflections on the process of making money
I bought my copy in an used bookshop in Surfers Paradise, Australia.. decided to take back home because of the honest, down to earth advice that some pages exhibit.

I have forund it to be valuable as frequent reading, one chapter at a time and in a random order.. its my opinion the book will be much more valuable if you have already started your process of committment to making money. By that, I mean your inner process, its the part of thinking that creates the path to action (that you must take).

Do it frequently, there is seldom time to talk to a friend who can advice you like this book.

I don’t think I finished reading this book. It seemed like the same ol’ same ol’ chicken soup stuff. I found nothing new in the half of it that I read.

5 Stars Create abundance with this book!
Let’s not kid ourselves: there are perhaps thousands of books dedicated to motivating people, getting them closer to success, and so on. I have read a dozen or so of those books, but this one clearly stands out in my mind.

This book is separated into 100 easy-to-read chapters, which makes it much easier to manage the messages therein. Simply read at your own pace, digest, and implement. The honest and humorous writing makes it actually fun to read and look forward to future chapters.

Basically, this book tells you how to create abundance, whether through savings, change of perception, acquisition of friends, or other methods. The message is overwhelmingly positive and downright inspirational, as it should be. After reading the book, you will be inspired to take action and reach your goals as a happier, more fulfilled person.

I highly recommend this book!

I bought this book and then went to some training in Tennessee and was impressed with all the detail given on how to do a succesfull short sale. I have then applied these techniques in my real estate business to give me one more tool in my arsenal to make money.

Excellent book. Very detailed. Absolutely convincded me that I wanted nothing to with this business. The author demonstrates that it is difficult and tricky business,potentially very lucrative, but not a get rich quick scheme. Since I would like to get rich without this much work, I’ll pass on this method. And I truly thank this book for steering me right. I take off one star only for the author’s occasional right wing rants. But I guess he’s entitled. He worked very hard to get rich, and he shares his secrets openly in an inexpensive book, rather than trying to hoodwink you out of thousands by means of an infomercial. If he’s got a few screwball political ideas, God bless him.

4 Stars A Great Step-by-Step Intro in Investing
This is an excellent book by Thomas as he thoroughly takes you through the process of purchasing an investment property. He provides a wealth of resources on nearly every aspect of investing by listing websites and addresses.

His forms are great for providing you with an idea for approaching home owners. However, the tone of the letters are some what dismissive–but that’s just my opinion.

The only area that needs enhancing is providing one with an idea as to estimate value in the property. He does not provide as much detail as others (i.e., Steve Berges “The Complete Guide to Real Estate Finance for Investment Properties”). With that said, it is an excellent resource and I highly recommend it.

2 Stars BAD Advice re: homes in LLCs
This book had a lot of good information but I have to strongly disagree with the idea of putting a persons home into a Limited Liability Company. It sounds great but the IRS has made it clear that they will not find a busines purpose for puting a home in an LLC. Also there are court decisions around the countyr that have found that putting ones home in an LLC does not protect the home from legitamate creditors. LLC are fantastic entities for asset protection, income tax planning, and estate and gift tax planning, in our practice we work them daily, but we never put personal homes into the LLC it is a waste of time and money.

4 Stars Great Start, For Beginners!

This book is wonderful, especially for folks without a lot of business background. It was very helpful for me when I began to interview accountants.

This book does an excellent job of educating the average person & Small Bussiness Owner on how to structure a business and to legally take advantage of the Internal Revenue Code. It gives great examples, and gives step-by-step guidelines that I actually understood and used.

There are a few typos, but overall a very informative book.

This clearly written book offers a handy guide to tax strategy for the rich and for those who hope to be rich. Author Diane Kennedy, a certified public accountant, provides basic information on common tax risks and opportunities. Without using burdensome jargon, she explains the fundamentals of financial reports and record keeping. Her approach is commonsense and straightforward she doesn’t make outrageous promises or exotic, inapplicable recommendations. The title is slightly misleading. This book is not really about loopholes, but rather about sound planning and management - especially for business owners. It does get into the minutiae of tax law, which is subject to change, so some of the details may have a short shelf life, and much of the advice will have little applicability outside of the United States. Nonetheless, we recommend this basic guide to anyone who needs a fundamental introduction to personal financial and tax management in the U.S.

I thought this book was excellent! I learned quite a lot from reading it and hope to really apply what I have learned to my finances. It was jam packed with helpful tips and ideas on how to take full advantage of tax loopholes. I would recommend this to any small business owner!!

1 Star simplistic
Not very well written. Its is simplistic & somewhat condescending.

Later chapters tend to repeat basic concepts covered earlier without expanding upon the issues. There are more knowlegable authors out there that are refreshing and can effectively advance the your knowledge.
