5 Stars This book has given me financial freedom
I was in a big mess. Without going into details - I owed almost $95,000, my yearly income is $45,000 before tax, and I am supporting a family of 3. I live in New York. My apartment rent alone is $1,100. Owed amount was getting bigger and bigger because of the interest. Obviously, I wasn’t eligible any kind of loan.

No money to hire an expert. I didn’t have money to buy many different books. Luckily the one I picked was the right book. Now, I had the will and I had the right book. I owe only $7,000 now. My total credit limit from different credit cards is now $175,000. My bank is willing to give me loan. Didn’t happen overnight or it didn’t happen without any work on my part — but it did work out with the help of this book.

4 Stars A good book to help YOU get started
This book is very helpful. To the reviewers who said there were a bunch of useless forms in the book….yeah if you don’t use them. I mean he tells you what to do, gives you a form to go by all you have to do is work towards your goal…getting that credit score up. What do we expect our credit scores to go up just by purchasing/reading the book? You have to do something.

3 Stars pretty good - I rate it a solid 3.5
Pros - easy to read and concise; good tips on how to establish and re-establish credit; good job explaining the credit reporting process and the importance of credit and the three types of lenders (prime, subprime, and secondary).

Cons - does not include info about credit scoring; steps for fixing credit are too cumbersome for the average consumer to follow; tips for how to strengthen credit are ineffective, outdated, misleading - such as having account added to your credit record - the agencies don’t do that anymore. incorrect data about the length of time chapter 13 bankruptcies stay on credit reports; sample letters are too vague.

The book could have been more detailed to help readers fully grasp credit. It’s a good introdution to credit that wiill leave you seeking more information. recommendation - The Insider’s Guide to credit Repair by K.E. Varner and Your Credit Score by Liz Weston.

2 Stars Sucked.
I’m giving this two stars, because it’s better then nothing, but it’s just a giant listing of form letters and a boring algorithm to follow. I suppose it might actually work, but it doesn’t give you an insight or knowledge you can use to work the system like the Gorilla Guide does. I ordered the two books at once figuring I’d read both, and this one flat out sucked.

4 Stars Solid info. Easy to read
This book is great if you want to challenge inaccurate or “old” credit files reported by the big three agencies. The book provides a plethera of letters & follow-up letters to challenge the false reports. In addition, it offers up ways to negotiate payment plans w/your creditors.

3 Stars ho hum
I brought this book but it did not really tell me anything that I did not already know. They have a number that you can call to get a credit card. The card is supposed to help your credit rating and as I understood it, not one to use just to have on your credit report. I called the number they gave several times and there is a recording like a radio show, basically what is on the CD. You sit there for 30 minutes listen to this stuff all over again and then get disconnected. The promise of this card to increase your credit rating is a bunch of crock.

I think this was a waste of money. I should have taken the money I paid for this and put it on one of my cards. LOL

4 Stars Secrets are revealed…
Secrets are revealed in the Credit Secrets Bible. I was worried this was going to be another waste of time credit scam, but decided to take the chance and bought the book. I am glad that I did. Yes, they do try to sell you more things in the book, but hey isn’t that what good marketing is all about? For me it had some really good tips and strategies for repairing one’s credit. I have put the tips to use and to my wonderful surprise I just received a letter from Equifax saying they have deleted one of my items on my credit report. I have a ways to go but at least now I know that I am headed in the right direction! The only reason I did not give the book 5 stars is one of the things they try to sell you on is more credit secrets that are even better than the ones in this book. I think they should have been included in the book.

I read this book and was amazed by the amount of information it gave. This author hits every area of credit that people need help with. Everything from credit scores to id theft is covered here and in great detail.

This book is one of the best credit guide out there today. The ones I’ve read in the past just touch on certain things here and there, but this author really gives you what you need. I’m buying copies to pass out to others that could use this information. It is highly recommended!

How to get Anything Paid For

Debt, uncontrolled, can be devastating to ones life. A thriving business whose debt has gone unchecked, can find itself suddenly facing chapter 13 or closing it’s doors. Statistics show that a once happy and fulfilling marriage can grow cold and eventually end in divorce when debt is not handled properly.

I have heard of people who have committed suicide because they had gotten so far into debt, that they felt death was the only way out. Some handle debt better than others. The reasons can be complex.

I have tried in this book to make the ridding of debt from your life simple and clear. I take a focused look at the psychological root cause of why one falls back into debt despite great efforts to get out. This gives merit to the age old saying:

“The rich gets richer, and the poor gets poorer.” We examine the bible scripture that corrects this dilemma where it instructs us to renew our minds. The precise meaning is to renew our mindset. See Ephesians 4 verse 23.

I found the term: Debt free too vague for my use. I had fifteen credit cards, at the max, and a mortgage about to fall behind.

I found out that by saying out loud what I wanted to happen yielded results. Saying that my J.C. Penny card was paid off was something I could see and do. Saying: “My home is paid for” was something I could see and get motivated to do. By doing this with all fifteen credit cards and my house, I did obtain debt freedom.

Treat your goal of (Paid for) like a puzzle. See the big picture , but focus on putting it together piece by piece.
